Sims 3: Zodiac Challenge - Chapter 3, The Tiger

Avery's daughter, Carmen, came to the wedding.  She - and her mother and grandparents - weren't invited, but I didn't set the event to be 'exclusive', because, in all honesty, I was hoping for some kind of drama.  Carmen's thinking about fire, presumably because she's hydrophobic, which I think is linked to her being conceived in a shower.

Monica, Carmen's mother, glares at Tracy through the window as she walks past.

Ashlee, Jenna's sister and the mother of Avery's eldest child, is also in attendance.  She was invited, in her role as Logan's girlfriend.  Still, out of sight of Logan, she wipes away a tear as Avery finally turns up and says his vows.

After the ceremony, Ashlee approaches Tracy.   Avery has already headed home at this point.

Presumably, Ashlee is bringing up the idea of child support for Sammie.  I think part of her motivation might be a little bit of spite - wanting the woman Avery finally married to know what he's really like.  After all, he did have sex with Ashlee then leave her holding the baby before dating and proposing to her sister before cheating on her.  It's not Tracy's fault, but I can see why Ashlee would want to rain on the parade a little bit.

At home, Avery is, I assume, thinking (out loud) about being single.  Piper is thinking about chewing stuff.

When Tracy arrives home later, she checks the mailbox.  Inside are love letters from many of Avery's flings, and from Jenna.  He's already asleep, so she can't talk to him about it.

The next morning, Avery thinks about Wyatt for a bit and then goes downstairs and calls Jenna anyway.  I like to think that he's currently thinking of Jenna as his best friend, and she's certainly encouraging that.  They've not been romantically involved for a while, and she's not expressed any jealousy over his other women.  He's been seeking happiness in everyone's arms, believing Jenna wouldn't forgive him, for cheating on her, and for having a baby with her sister.  When she arrives, he immediately gets a wish to kiss her.

Maybe, he thinks.  Maybe Jenna was his happiness all along.  Can he resist the chance to find out, despite Tracy and Wyatt?  Well, remember that the Tiger is passionate, daring, selfish, and impulsive.

Before we get a chance to find out, Tracy wakes up and sees them through the window, flirting and complimenting each other.  As Avery goes inside to bathe Piper, Tracy comes downstairs. 

I get an option to "tell about Avery's other relationships" and when I click it, this happens.  Presumably, Tracy's reminding Jenna that Avery is married, to Tracy, and that they have a son.  Tbh, I think some of her annoyance at Ashlee is coming out here.

Jenna doesn't react to Tracy's insults, until Tracy slaps her.  

Then, she still doesn't react, but Tracy realises that Jenna is evil.  I like to think Jenna gave her a little smirk and maybe a teensy bit of evil monologuing.  Maybe just that she was going to steal Avery.

Avery missed whatever Jenna said to reveal her evilness, but does see Tracy screaming at her.  He goes to comfort Jenna.

 

Tracy accuses Jenna of being evil, but Jenna feigns innocence and all Avery can think is that he's tired of it all.

They row more, until eventually Avery says that he can't handle Tracy's jealousy, and that she can't attack his friends.   He wants a divorce.  In the background, Jenna smirks.

Picking up Wyatt, Tracy prepares to leave.  In the background, Jenna reassures Avery that it will always be okay, that clearly Tracy wasn't the right person for him, but the right person will turn up soon.  Inside, she thinks about how much fun she's having.

Avery and Jenna sit down to watch the stars together.  Jenna is having the best evening of her life.

Sims 3: Zodiac Challenge - Chapter 3, The Tiger

Avery has relatively few goals left to complete.  Here are the Legacy objectives for the Tiger;

There's no self-assured trait in the expansion packs I have.  Avery's traits are; Daredevil, Charismatic, Flirty, Brave, and Athletic.  He's had relationships with Ashlee, Jenna, and Tracy (and children with many others).  He still needs to get divorced, become an astronaut (which is also his lifetime wish), and have an heir.  I will then also need to meet the lifetime wish of the mother of his heir.

Avery currently has six children, at least three of them ginger, and I've lost track of how many children he's expecting - I know Tracy's pregnant, and I'm pretty sure there's at least one more in utero (in similica?).  So that's eight.  I know I want child 11 to be the child of the stripper at his bachelor party and child 12, the heir, to be Jenna's, so I need to have ten kids before that happens.  I also want Tracy married and divorced before their kid gets too old, because I can't be bothered to care for it.  Perhaps I should move her out, as if they've decided to have some time apart before the wedding because it's unlucky to see the bride?  That would, at least, solve the problem of how to get her out of the way for the bachelor party.  In other news, Haven is still climbing up the police career ladder, Logan has joined the military like his big brother, and Theodore, Avery's youngest brother, is a kleptomaniac, as well as an artist and a genius.  He's basically that kid from Fillmore.

Another complication is the fact that Jenna now considers Avery merely an acquaintance.  The same is the case for Erika, the sim I've picked out to be the mother of the 10th child.  She hates kids (so didn't enjoy the frequent attempts at 'try for baby') and now knows that Avery is a cheater, so she's gone from a love interest to barely an acquaintance as well.  In short, I need to get both relationships up with a few phone calls, and, possibly, find another mother.

Tracy gave birth quite quickly, to a boy, Wyatt.  It turns out there were two little simlets in utero, so Avery's total is now up to 9.

While Tracy gave birth, Avery was 'touring the theatre' with Erika, creating baby 10.  Notice Jenna walking past.

Jenna stopped him on his way out and they talked.

 He asked Jenna about his reputation, and this is what she told him.  I like to think it's wryly sarcastic.

And here's Avery's response.  "Jenna, I..."

At home with Tracy, Avery gazed into space.  Was this really the life he wanted?  Married to Tracy?  With a baby?  Remember, the Tiger was raised in a loving family home and is brimming with confidence.  He wants to live his life with no regrets.

At least Piper is definitely the right choice.

As Avery left for his bachelor party, Tracy exercised in front of the stereo.  Maybe to look good in her wedding outfit.  Maybe because Avery only stayed when she was skinny.

Jenna came to the bachelor party.  Avery asked his uncle Jasper for advice.

Jasper made a toast "to Avery's wedding!  May your wife always be loving, your coffers always be full, and -"  Silas hastily cut him off.  The rest cannot be published.

It was nice for Avery to see his little brother again - they did share a room for most of Avery's teenage years.

After the bachelor party, Avery woohooed with the 'party dancer' in the showers at the gym and then took her out for a 3am diner breakfast.

...while wild horses galloped past.

Back at home, Avery slept.  Tracy gazed at her husband to be, wondering what he was dreaming about.  Her?  Their child?  Their future?

Avery was dreaming about Jenna.

Tracy is a very beautiful sim.  She deserves better.  The good thing about Avery's heir being his youngest child is that I'll get to see what all his other kids look like as adults before moving towns.  I have high hopes for Wyatt.

I'm not sure why Tracy took Wyatt to the wedding.  Most of the guests were Avery's family, which was awkward because Avery was late.

He was 'touring the town hall' again, for baby 11.

Haven seems worried.  It seems she doesn't know the rumours about her first-born son.  Rosemary doesn't seem to want to explain things to her little sister.

Jasper has a girlfriend and honestly, I'm just so happy it's finally happening for him.  He may be commitment-phobic, but he was clearly heartbroken when that women died.

Back to Avery, who is working hard on his career.  In the early stages, he was managing one promotion a day, but now the rate has slowed down.  This is him asking his boss - and the mother of his second child - for a raise and a promotion.  She agreed, and then they woohooed in the shower.

At the weekend, Avery looked up Tracy, the artistic loner he went to school with and woohooed with once.  She used to work at a crematory, all things that I read as her not being popular.  He trained her at the gym.

Tracy looked shocked at the transformation.  It turns out she's actually pretty cute, so I gave her a makeover.

Avery agreed, so he went over to visit her house early the next morning, to tell her how he felt.

I have no idea how the game worked that out, but okay.

While being eternally faithful to Jenna - and wooing Tracy - Avery seduced the maid.  The agency then started sending a male maid instead.

After receiving this letter, Avery felt torn.  He loved Jenna...but he also loved Tracy.  He invited Jenna over and confessed to cheating.  This gave him a bad reputation, which makes the last few children (my goal is 12 in total, remember?) much harder to obtain.

Jenna wasn't at all happy with this and they broke up.

Avery went to have a shower and Jenna had a little cry to Piper, the dog.  I know she's evil (though Avery still doesn't), but she seems genuinely broken-hearted.  Later, Avery asked if they could be friends, and she agreed.  I suspect she's plotting revenge though.

With that sorted out, Avery got on with wooing Tracy.

Tracy is now pregnant, so Avery proposed.  She's moved in and expecting.  Avery's not a big fan of pregnant women though, so he's woohooed with 2-3 other women since proposing.  I've learned a trick to continuing with Avery's goal to father 12 children with 12 women; if you take a tour through a building you can choose to try for a baby while inside, and, from what I've seen, it's not rejected.

This is Avery's second son, Jon.  We ran into him outside the city hall, after another successful 'tour'.

Finally, we end with my second burglary of the game.  Luckily, this time, the alarm was on the right door and the police arrived to apprehend the miscreant before they got away with anything.  Avery tried to fight him as well, presumably part of his inheritance as the son of two police officers.
