Princess Maker 2 is a strategy game released by Gainax way back in 1996.
Essentially, you are a warrior, given control of a little girl. You can decide what she does each month, either work, school, adventure, or some kind of free time. Whatever she does changes her stats. Her constitution, strength, intelligence, refinement, charisma, morality, faith, sin and stress can all go up to 999 (although, realistically, she's going to run away before her stress gets anywhere near that high). Her combat strength, skill and defence, and magic strength, skill and defence, can all go to 100 (although there are several ways to break those limits). Likewise, her decorum, cooking, cleaning, temperament, and conversation can also reach 100 (not counting breakers).
There are a number of sub-quests in the game - you can go and meet a dragon, you can dance with the fairies, and you can go and kill god if you really want to. Your daugher's stats and history determine which ending sequence you get, out of nearly six hundred, if I recall correctly.
In my last game, I got her strength, constitution, charisma, intelligence, refinement and faith up to the max (I cheated). Wearing the demon dress, her morality was zero; without it, it was 100.
Without the dress, my little girl became a general, married a dragon, and lived happily ever after. With the dress, she became a bounty hunter and married the devil. God liked one ending more than the other; I enjoyed both.
Incidentally, there's really only one worthwhile cheat for Princess Maker 2. Head into town, and hold down F12+R+N+Q. Go home, then return. Two new shops will have appeared, one of which will let you set endings, the other of which will give you free money, let you buy rare items, and show you the game's hidden stats.
There's also an excellent Let's Play of the game here.
