A few things I've been reading recently.
Firstly, the TV Tropes page on Breath of Fire (and I must apologise for taking up your entire afternoon with that link; TV tropes is a major time sink).
An interesting article on the Princess Maker series (the only one of which I've played is Princess Maker 2).
A link to Cave Story, a game I've heard interesting things about.
And, finally, an article on Final Fantasy VIII, although I disagree - I think Final Fantasy II is the red-headed stepchild.
